ADESS T3EV – All-new electric T3 SSV car presented by ADESS at FPAK Baja TT Capital dos Vinhos de Portugal

The world’s first fully electric racing T3 SSV – T3EV – will be presented at the FPAK Baja TT Capital dos Vinhos de Portugal. The all-electric T3EV is set to race in off-road championships and help promote sustainable racing.

Designed and built by ADESS in Portugal, the T3EV will do some demonstration runs on the prologue circuit of FPAK Baja TT Capital dos Vinhos de Portugal, showing the world of motorsports a small preview of the future of electric off-road racing, plus giving some selected drivers the opportunity to test the prototype.

The T3EV is powered by 2x 200kW (total 535bhp) electric motors (one on each axis), turning it into a very powerful racing machine. The 1,180 kilogram T3EV accelerates from 0-100 km/h in less than 4.5 seconds.

With a battery of 54 kWh of usable energy, the autonomy is about 70 km, in full attack “racing” mode, which allows for short run competitions with fast recharging in between stages.

In its suspension you can find a set of custom built Öhlins dampers to help the 350 mm suspension travel work in the most demanding situations. The drivetrain is composed of two limited slip differentials, one on each axis. The braking system is composed of 4 piston brake calipers and steel discs made by Alcon.

The car will do further testing in the final months of 2021, and will be ready to race in 2022.
