ADESS-03 LMP3
The ACO (Automobile Club de l´Ouest) has launched a new sportscar prototype category in 2015: the LMP3 (Le Mans Prototype 3).
Five Race car manufacturers have been selected to design and build this new closed cockpit prototype. The LMP3s have a common powertrain consisting of a normally aspirated 420 bhp V8 Nissan engine coupled to a 6-speed sequential X-Trac gearbox.
The LMP3 category is an access category to endurance racing with limited running costs and a capped car sale price at 207,000 euros (tax not included).
