As previously announced in April, ADESS is currently developing an LMP1 car according to the 2014 regulations. The design & development started in November 2012 and the project is now entering its final design stage:
A specific engine has been chosen and the latest wind-tunnel results promise a very competitive package. Besides performance factors the car has been designed according to the highest safety standards and drivability criteria have been constantly taken into account throughout the complete development process.
ADESS is now looking for a professional race team interested to put 2 cars on the grid for the 2014 WEC season and is aiming to be involved as a development partner for the coming years.
Stéphane Chosse, CEO of ADESS AG: “Our target is to establish a permanent position as manufacturer in the LMP-classes. The new 2014 LMP1 regulations allow private manufacturers such as ADESS to demonstrate their technical abilities. The design is completed and we are looking forward to present the car together with a potential partner.”
